What is included in AcuraWatch?

Driver assistance features are one of the latest new features to become more and more common on modern cars. These systems help increase the awareness of the driver. Acura offers the AcuraWatch suite of driver awareness features on many of the manufacturer’s models. So, what is included in AcuraWatch?

AcuraWatch Systems and Features

The AcuraWatch suite will include five driver awareness supplementing systems. Systems included in the suite include:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
  • Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™).
  • Forward Collision Warning (FCW).
  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW).
  • Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS).

Other systems offered on the Acura lineup include a multi-view rearview camera, Blind Spot Information System and front and rear parking sensors.

Acura offers many other technology systems throughout the company’s lineup. Systems offered include:

  • LED headlights.
  • LED taillights.
  • Remote Power-Operated Tailgate.
  • GPS-linked Climate Control.
  • On-Demand Multi-Use Display.

The 2018 Acura lineup will be made up of the ILX, RDX, TLX, MDX, RLX and NSX. Each of these vehicles provides a different skill set to appeal to a wide variety of drivers and owners.
