The 2018 Acura TLX performance luxury sedan has started making its appearance at dealerships across the country. The latest version of the car will continue to provide luxury features combined with high-powered performance. Everything starts with the 2018 Acura TLX engine options and performance.

2018 Acura TLX Four-Cylinder Engine

Two engines will be offered on the 2018 TLX. The first is a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine. Performance numbers on the engine check in at 206 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed dual clutch transmission. Fuel economy ratings on the system will check in at up to 23 miles per gallon in the cities and 33 mpg in the highways for 27 mpg combined.*

TLX V-6 Engine Option

In addition to the base four-cylinder engine, the 2018 Acura TLX can be equipped with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine. Choosing the V-6 engine increases the car’s performance numbers to 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. V-6 models also come equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission, and are available with all-wheel drive.
