Joe was the best salesman. Every other dealer I went to was quite frankly not hearing what I came in to test and look for. I wanted to view cars I saw online cause I didn’t want to look at preowned used cars I can’t afford. Joe delivered and explained every feature in the car and took the test drive on the side streets, main road and parkway (which other dealers like security dodge and Honda did not do). The warranty coverage at Acura is worth it for the brand.
I have dealt with this Wantagh Acura for some 20 years. This is my 5th or 6th MDX. Always dealt with Joe Mulcahy who made the process easy and stressless. I have had almost all my servicing done at dealership and have always been saisfied with the work and the staff.

I purchased my MDX and traveled a 12 hour trip to get it. Was very pleased with the customer service. I got there that morning from my flight and they had all paperwork and car ready to go. I was in and out in less than 40 min and that was with a test drive. I loved not having to spend a whole day at the dealership. They sold me on a wheel alignment on my car that was 6mouths old. Then went back 4 months later and they said my wheel alignment was off until they say that they already got me earlier so then they said it was ok. Not the must trusting place.

The staff is amazing. Tim, Matt and Joseph R are all stars from sales, marketing/finance and service. We went to other dealerships closer to home, but went back to them to get my car because of their customer service, car knowledge and friendliness. Took the car in for the fuel pump recall and noise coming from the high pressure fuel pump. They did the recall and said everything was good, noise is gone… I go and and start the car the high pressure fuel pump is making the same noise. Recently purchased a used RDX and brought it to Island Acura to catch up on due maintenance, including timing belt, water pump, battery etc. Made an appointment on advance and my service advisor Joe checked me in within minutes. Used coupons from their website and prices were very fair. Service was completed same day as promised. Received text message with access to my paperwork and was able to pay my bill online from the train on my way to the shop. Was on my way in minutes. This was a top notch dealer service experience.

The wipers stopped working intermittently the next day after I serviced my RDX at your Wantagh service center.. I read on the internet that this is a know issue with a 2021 RDX’s. I would expect that this is covered by Acura.

I was always asked if I wanted any help. When I said I was just looking they were fine with that.
