Excellent service although could be pricey for parts.
From the minute I spoke with Bob Gio on the phone to picking up the car, everything went so smoothly. He was not a "pushy" salesman at all. I knew what I wanted and what the numbers were and he met all our expectations and more. His knowledge about the vehicle is exceptional. Upon picking up the vehicle, he already had the AC running as it was a hot day and went through the car in detail. Paperwork took all of 10 minutes. We have owned 2 Acura's previously, each for 10 years and my whole family is now thinking of getting an Acura. You can't beat the reliability of an Acura. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends.
Parts department was very helpful and knowledgeable. Not sure about the actual service or sales.
See Tim for sales and lease. I addressed a problem with the used car I bought and he made sure it was resolved. However, when I got an oil change on my other car they forgot to replace two screws on the cover and it fell down. I had to get someone else to fix it because they said it wasn’t their fault. Thankfully it was only a $7 part but still should have been done correctly.
My husband and I had never gotten our own new car before. We walked into Acura looking to get as much info as possible. We were greeted by Darren who gave us an elevator pitch of all the benefits of the Acura MDX, which we were comparing with a multitude of other luxury crossover/SUVs. He was quick and concise, ending with "you'll be back." And he was right. We sat with other salespeople and looked at other vehicles for weeks, ultimately comin back to Acura - not only because we felt it was the best car and deal, but because we felt Darren gave us an honest representation of the next 3 years of our lease. Thanks to Darren, Tim, and Bobby for helping and convincing us to lease the MDX - we're extremely happy with our decision.
Great company with amazing employees. I was helped out by Rocky and Joe and they were both extremely kind and helpful with the selection process. Can’t say anything but good things about Island Acura.
Joey Robinson heads up one super customer-oriented Service Department. He is always extremely cordial and deeply concerned about the maintenance of my vehicle. Island Acura is quite fortunate to have him under their employ!
