Went in to look with my wife because he Nissan lease was up in a few weeks. I usually dread these places. Expect the worse of people trying to dump cars on unsuspecting buyers (like Jeep does). But not at island acura. We were greeted by the receptionist who asked if we wanted to talk to a sales rep, we wanted to look before we were hassled(we thought). After about 15 minutes we asked for a salesman. We were greeted by Bobby Gio. He was very kind and honest. we told him what we liked and what we wanted to spend. we took a test drive. she choose her car and out of curiosity i asked what my jeep was worth to them. they gave me very fair number. the manager Tony also came over to see how the process was going, he was nice and professional. a few hours later we came back to pick up our new cars. it was a hassle free environment there. Bobby was great with everything, taking my jeep and taking my wives lease. Would DEFINITELY recommend island acura. thanks Bobby! it was a pleasure! will be back!!

I just had my car serviced this morning at Island Acura and am, as always, very satisfied with the wonderful and pleasant service I received. Upon arriving, I received a very friendly welcome from a service rep, Robert, whom I had never encountered before. He assured me that whatever the problem was with my car, I would receive the best possible servicing and I agreed. That is why I drive all the way from Glendale, NY (near Bklyn) and have been doing so since I purchased my Acura Integra GS from this dealership in 1992. This is a top-notch dealership and is second to none as far as providing the best servicing to my car for over 26 years. I have been dealing with Joey Robinson who is a wonderful service manager for just about the past 10 years or so. Joey ALWAYS addresses my concerns and makes sure that my car receives the absolute best service possible. Joey is very fair and honest. He patiently explains everything that has been done to my car and puts my mind at ease. I trust him to take care of my car servicing needs and will continue to be a loyal Island Acura customer because of the tremendous service I receive at Island Acura and because of their wonderful service manager, Joey Robinson. Island Acura is the only dealership I will EVER bring my car to to handle its maintenance and servicing needs, Thanks for everything, Joey!!!
Great dealership and awesome service department
I just went there to take a look at the Acura SUV. Never did I think I’d wind up buying one. I told my friend I was going to stop by there and he was nice enough to meet me as he was nearby. He owns an RDX. He also was a repeat customer there who recommended the dealer highly. I discovered recently that a nearby dealer really screwed me over so much I didn’t want that SUV anymore. I was going to buy a new model of THAT SUV at a different dealer. My friend suggested I see his salesman, Joe M. at Island. I am a salesman too and we’re the easiest to sell to. After my afore mentioned sour experience with another car dealer, I wasn’t going to be so easy to sell. Remember, I really WAS just looking at the Acura figuring it would cost more money than I was prepared to spend. Joe was straight up with me from the get go. None of the usual car buying BS. He found a 2016 RDX with only about 15000 miles and it has the Tech package which is really neat. Rather than playing games with the monthly payment and NOT providing the actual price of the vehicle, he started with the price and went from there. He also was able to give me the same trade in value I was expecting. Pretty soon I was just BUYING. I didn’t think I’d be in a luxury brand at this time but am glad I bought the RDX. I met most of the staff at Island who I’d be dealing with from the sales manager to the service manager. All were accommodating. The day after I took the RDX, I noticed a problem with a defective tire and a missing lens in my eyeglasses. I stopped by Island on my way to retrieve my lens from my house and they changed the tire AND, they washed the car. Good thing they offer free car washes as I’ve never owned a black car that’s beautiful when clean. All in all, I’d recommend Island Acura highly and suggest you see Joe. He’ll help make it happen without high pressure sales tactics other dealers rely on. Oh, by the way, I figured to actually test drive an RDX after buying it and another salesman was cordial enough to take time out from his day to take me! How cool is that? At this point, I really can’t see myself in another brand. I’m glad my friend recommended Joe and look forward to doing business with Island Acura going forward.
